Giving Children a Hope for the Future

Our Mission

Lifeline Children’s Services exists to provide a hope and a future through the Gospel for children around the world by discipling, engaging, and equipping people towards adoption, foster care, and orphan care.
Who We Are
Lifeline is a non-profit 501c3 ministry and licensed agency founded in 1981. Lifeline promotes the sanctity of life through ministry to young women in the midst of unplanned pregnancy, domestic and international adoption services, foster care, and orphan care through (un)adopted.
Since its founding, Lifeline’s commitment has remained focused on working with Christian families, to ensure that children are raised with the truth of who Jesus Christ is as their Lord and Savior. Lifeline currently has offices in 11 states.
Key Programs
Domestic Adoption: In 1981, Lifeline began to promote the sanctity of life through domestic adoption services. Lifeline ministers to the needs of young women in the midst of unplanned pregnancies through counseling, medical care and legal services as well as the option of maternity home care.
Foster Care: Lifeline has partnered with local churches and the state child welfare agency to recruit, train and license Christian foster families for children in the foster care system, starting with the state of Alabama and expanding elsewhere. For many children and families who have never been exposed to the Gospel, our foster parents are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
International Adoption: Lifeline began responding to the needs of orphans internationally in 1999 and currently has 17 country programs. The hope for broken countries, families, and fatherless children is not in America, but the hope is in the Gospel.
(un)adopted: The call to rescue the orphan in distress cannot be fulfilled through adoption alone. (un)adopted, a ministry of Lifeline, exists to provide a hope and a future for orphans around the world by facilitating a safe environment to disciple and equip children in need.
