Religious Freedom and Discrimination post-Obergefell: Video Discussion

What are the consequences of the Supreme Court’s same-sex marriage decision for faith-based services? A new video features IRFA founder Stanley Carlson-Thies and law professor Marci Hamilton discussing this and related religious freedom issues with John DiIulio, first director of the Bush White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.

Hamilton is a professor at Cardozo law school (Yeshiva University) and a noted critic of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. DiIulio is director of the Fox Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania. The video was released on October 21, 2015. Hamilton and Carlson-Thies are co-directors in the “Common Ground for the Common Good” project guided by Prof. DiIulio as an initiative of the Program for Research on Religion and Urban Civil Society at the University of Pennsylvania.
